Belitung Island

Still remember the movie "Laskar Pelangi"? yes, the film was made in one area on the island of sumatra. The area was once famous for its tin mining results. However, as was shown sets are very beautiful, namely belitung Island. Belitung is a tropical island located south of the equator (-5.5725 Latitude, Longitude 104.9305) Propindi part of Bangka Belitung in Indonesia. There are 200,000 people living there with the majority ethnic Malay and Chinese.

Belitung is a special island with beautiful granite rocky beaches artistic, clear sea water, and sandy beach which is really white, not found elsewhere. So that this island is perfect for those who love photography. Because the photographers will be spoiled by the sights and spots are so beautiful.

dawet or cendol is known to be very refreshing beverage. dawet made from coconut milk, palm sugar, slices of jackfruit and its main ingredient is rice flour. This rice flour is commonly called sweet basil. There are two kinds cendol known in Indonesia, namely cendol cendol green and black. green cendol take natural dyes from pandan leaves. whereas the black comes from the juice cendol straw burned.
